This is one of my favourite weeks of the Speedway 660 racing season. We all like The Riverview Ford Season Opener, which goes this Saturday night, for several reasons. First-off, we finally get to see some exciting short-track racing almost nine months after Cassius Clark celebrated his Auto Value 250 win at SpeedWeekend 2012.

Speedway 660’s season opens next Saturday night!

The stock car racing community is starting to get excited about the twentieth anniversary season at Speedway 660. Fans, race teams, advertisers, staff and the new owners are counting the days until the first green flag of the season flies. Saturday, May 25th is the night the 2013 season gets underway at Atlantic Canada’s most exciting short-track.

Street Stock Champ Taking a “Brake” – For Now.

2012 was a season to remember for Shannon Brake at Speedway 660. The Quispamsis resident out-dueled Rick Cashol to win our Street Stock title. Sportsman Champ Jumps to Pro Stock

In 2012 Glyn Nott won the Speedway 660 Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Championship. With that little bit of business finally taken care of, the popular driver from Burton now feels the time is right to get into a Pro Stock.

A new era at Speedway 660!

Things are really happening quickly and are starting to take shape for the 20th anniversary season at Speedway 660. Since we bought Atlantic Canada’s top stock car racing facility, just a couple of months ago, we have discovered what the word busy really means!
