After extensive competition research it has been determined by the Maritime Sportsman Rules committee that the current 100 lb. penalty applied to the 1:1 drivetrain option will be reduced to 50 lb.
This was done to promote fair and even competition and was addressed as early as possible in the season to allow affected teams to adjust as necessary.
