The McLaughlin Roof Trusses Best of the Best 150 highlights a full Saturday night of action at Speedway 660. Racing begins at 6:30PM and fans will be on the edge of their seats for one of Atlantic Canada’s most important Pro Stock races of the season.

Two spots available for the Pro Stock 250!

“The Best of the Best 150 is a great opportunity to punch your ticket to the Irving Blending and Packaging 250 on SpeedWeekend, so we`ll be going all out on Saturday night” said Lonnie Sommerville, the REMAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock point leader. “Pro Stock racing here at Speedway 660 has been phenomenal this year and with so much on the line we’re apt to see some outside drivers show up, which will make a great show for the fans.”bobactionlonniedaveLonnie Sommerville (#23) is a two-time Irving Blending and Packaging 250 winner. Lonnie, who already has two feature victories this year and leads the RE/MAX Pro Stock points race, will be a strong contender to win the McLaughlin Roof Trusses Best of the Best 150.

There are two important format changes for the 2015 edition of the Best of the Best 150. Both the winner and runner-up will earn guaranteed provisional starting positions in the Irving Blending and Packaging 250 on SpeedWeekend. And the competition caution that gave drivers a mid-race break has been eliminated.

“It`s a big deal to now have two chances to get into the Irving Blending and Packaging 250 and I know from first-hand experience how a great run at the Best of the Best 150 takes the pressure off a race team heading into SpeedWeekend” said Dave O`Blenis, a four-time Best of the Best winner. “Eliminating the mid-race break makes the 150 more like the 250 and race teams are going to have to decide if and when they are going to pit during the race.”Dave O'Blenis Best of the Best winner 2014Dave O’Blenis, who has won four Best of the Best races, figures this weekend is a good time to win his first Pro Stock feature of the year.

Race fans will also see the Martin`s Home Heating Sportman, DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock, Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters and West Wood Estates Bandolero division drivers.

Adult ticket prices are $25; Youth tickets, for kids between 8 and 16 years of age are $15 and; admission is always free for fans seven and under. Pit passes for fans 16 and over are $5,
