SUNDAY’S SPORTSMAN 150 CANCELED DUE TO RAIN
(GEARY, NB – July 4th, 2021) – Mother Nature has been persistent in her efforts to keep racers off the track at Speedway 660 this weekend. After a mist lingered most of the day on Saturday, rain began in the early hours of the morning of Sunday and is not forecast move out of the area until late tonight, forcing officials to call off Sunday’s rescheduled Late Model Sportsman 150.
The next event at Speedway 660 is Saturday, July 17th when the RE/MAX East Coast Elite Realty Pro Stocks will highlight the popular Christmas in July event with a 150-lap feature. The race is the longest event on the Pro Stock schedule at the Geary, New Brunswick track outside of the Pro Stock 250 on Labour Day Weekend. The DMR Auto Street Stock and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters will play support to the Pro Stock 150. Christmas In July gets underway at 6:30pm on Saturday, July 17th. Word on the street is the Speedway 660 officials have it on good authority that a special guest will be making his way to the track from up north during his off-season – stay tuned for more!
