The Night of Champions was a night to remember for several drivers, their families and fans. In it’s last event before SpeedWeekend, Speedway 660 handed out Championship and Rookie of the Year trophies.
Riley Goodwin started the Night of Champions off with a win in the first Bando heat race. Riley has been working hard this season and was pretty pleased to grab the checkered flag!
Cory Hall has gotta be crackin a smile behind that helmet! The youngster from the Sackville area was back in victory lane with a win in the 2nd Bando heat.
Time for the Sharp Shooters! Three-wide is something you’ll see these drivers do on a regular basis.
Brian Maillet goes for a wild ride. He kicks up a little dust, creates an impressive “smoke-show” and lights things up under the front-end of his little Sharp Shooter!
After the flames were extinguished, Neil Miousse rolled into the Riverview Ford Victory Lane in the first Sharp Shooter heat.
Bryan Suttie was on his game in the 2nd Sharp Shooter heat. Bryan drove the wheels off the 51 and landed in victory lane!
Dunphy’s Towing is called to duty in the first Street Stock heat. That’s not the way Gary Wade planned on exiting Speedway 660!
Former “dirt-track demon” Andre Chamberlain is all smiles after winning the first Street Stock heat. Andre really does wear a helmet when he goes racin, but was quick to remove it for this photo-op!
Rookie contender Tyler Seveck gets his night off to an awesome start by winning the 2nd Street Stock heat. Nice Shades Ty!
Tyler’s Dad Steve goes around in the Sportsman heat race. Dawson McIntee just happened to be in the neighbourhood when Seveck spun-out!
Rookie contender Alexandra O`Blenis was all bent outta shape after an incident late in the Sportsman heat. This came after Team O`Blenis was forced to change a transmission and rear-end during the afternoon practice session.
While Alex was picking up the pieces, Drew Greenlaw picked up the checkered flag. What a great way to start the evening for this rookie of the year candidate.
The 2014 Night of Champions was the end of the line for Brad Mann. The three time Speedway 660 Pro Stock champion has decided to retire after more than two decades behind the wheel. Congrats Brad!
Brian Gillespie also ran his last race on Saturday night. Gillespie won seven championships over the years in the Geary Woods. We`re gonna miss Brian and the Nackawic Nite Train!
Brady Creamer follows up a Fan Appreciation Night feature podium finish with a win in the first Pro Stock heat on the Night of Champions. Gotta love a little momentum!
Chris Duncan (97) uses the high-side to his advantage and wins the second Pro Stock heat over rookie sensation Cole Boudreau.
Tyler Seveck is back in victory lane again! This time Seveck out runs the field to win the Street Stock dash.
They get Alexandra O`Blenis back out for the Sportsman dash in an effort to pick up some rookie of the year points.
But another rookie contender wins again. Drew Greenlaw goes two for two, winning his Sportsman heat and the dash.
Chris Duncan follows Drew`s example and wins the Pro Stock dash, after taking his heat race. The two-time champion is unbeatable so far on the Night of Champions!
After taking a wild carnival ride Bando championship contender Cole Tanner somehow gets back on the track to finish the feature!
Joshua Langille lands on his roof right at the finish of the Bando feature. Josh jumped out of the car unhurt after this scarey incident!
MacKenzie Brewer picks up his 2nd feature win of the year. Young Brewer really stepped up his racing program in 2014 and as soon as the season is over this young man is ready to strap on the skates to play some Bantam AAA hockey!
Levi Rossiter finished the points season on a roll. He was 2nd in the feature on Saturday night and claimed the Bando Rookie of the Year Award. Nicely done Levi!
Ashton Tucker and his body-guards celebrate a third place finish in the Bando feature.
Cole Tanner wins the 2014 Westwood Estate Apartments Bandolero championship. The Boy from Shubie has got a beat-up race car, but he`s also got a nice trophy. Congrats Cole – You Rule!
Neil Miousse goes two for two on the Night of Champions. Neil followed up his heat win with a victory in the Sharp Shooter feature.
Ira Farnell takes 2nd in the Sharp Shooter feature. Ira had several podium finishes in 2014, but a couple of bad breaks cost him a run for the title.
Brody Levesque had a great run, finishing third in the Sharp Shooter feature.
Kyle Boudreau (right) is Speedway 660`s Sharp Shooter Rookie of the Year. Quiet Kyle was pretty consistent all season long and could be a championship contender in 2015.
Jeremy Doran is the 2014 Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter Champion. Jeremy set his sights on the championship in the off-season and achieved his goal on Saturday night.
During intermission Speedway 660’s Max Roy & Wanda Campbell get doused in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!
Back to racin: Chuck Mercer wins the Street Stock feature for the first time in his rookie season. The former ENDURO champ credits cousin Clifford for providing him with the winning car!

2013 Street Stock champ Roger Slocum takes 3rd in the feature, but it wasn’t enough to earn him back to back titles.
The 2013 Sharp Shooter champ is the 2014 Street Stock Rookie of the Year. Tyler Seveck’s strong outing on our Night of Champions helped earn him the big trophy.
Now that’s a celebration! Luc MacLaughlin wins the 2014 DMR Auto Sales & Service Street Stock championship after winning Rookie of the Year in 2013.
Andrew Rodgers wins the Sportsman feature race and hopes to ride that momentum into the Irving Oil Blending & Packaging 150 on SpeedWeekend.
Drew Greenlaw’s wins in the heat and dash, plus a third place run in the feature earned him Sportsman Rookie of the Year Honours. Richard Martin hands over the hardware to the kid from Eastport, Maine!
Brent Roy, who dedicated the 2014 season to the memory of Jordan Gahan, won the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman championship. He used Jordan’s steering wheel on the Night of Champions and celebrated the championship with the Gahan family.
During Brent’s championship celebration 16 balloons were released. Jordan raced the number 16 and this season Roy raced number 16JG to honour his friend’s memory.
