Schedule Changes; October 10th Event Cancelled, Ricky Bobby 150 Start Time Moved to 5pm

September 26th’s Ricky Bobby 150 will serve as 2020 finale

(FREDERICTON, NB – September 21st, 2020) – Speedway 660 officials have announced three changes to the completion of the 2020 season at the Geary, New Brunswick motorsports facility.

The next event on the season, the Ricky Bobby Street Stock 150 presented by DMR Auto on Saturday, September 26th, will now be the final race of the 2020 season. The Street Stock 75, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 10th, has been canceled. With the prestige and gravity that the Ricky Bobby 150 event carries, the track has opted to end the season on a high note with the major Street Stock event.

With a recently scheduled event for the Pro Stock division at Riverside International Speedway, the RE/MAX East Coast Elite Realty Pro Stocks will not compete on Saturday, September 26th at Speedway 660. This gives Pro Stock teams a chance to compete at Riverside International Speedway in their only scheduled race of 2020.

A second change to the Saturday, September 26th event is the start time. With the air getting cooler in the Geary woods and the time under daylight being shorter, race officials have decided to start the event at 5pm. This allows the event to start in late afternoon and finish under the lights while not running too late into the night.

The Ricky Bobby Street Stock 150 presented by DMR Auto will feature the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters playing support to the Street Stocks in their season finale at Speedway 660. More information about the Ricky Bobby Street Stock 150 will be announced next week leading into the event.
