Saturday is 50’s Night at Speedway 660!
Race fans are in for some extra excitement this weekend at Speedway 660. For one night only, Street Stock and Sharp Shooter drivers will run fifty lap features. It all starts at 6:30PM on Saturday night.
Extra Laps for Street Stocks & Sharp Shooters!
“The Re/Max Pro Stocks run a 50 lap feature every week, but this week the DMR Auto Sales Street Stocks and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter will also go fifty” said Speedway 660’s Max Roy. “It’s a chance for these two divisions to showcase their talent and give the fans a lot more racing for their money.”The Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters provide fans with an entertaining form of racing. You’ll see more of this kind of action Saturday night when they run their longest race of the year.
Ticket prices for Saturday’s event are the same as a regular weekly show. Adult ticket prices are $14; Youth tickets, for kids between eight and 16, are $10 and; Family Passes for two adults and two youths are $38. Admission is always free for fans seven and under.
“Our Sharp Shooter division has Speedway 660’s highest car count and the drivers, who normally run 15 lap features in their little four cylinder, front-wheel drive cars, can’t wait to mix it up for 50 laps” said Roy. “The Street Stock drivers, who usually run 30 lap features, are also anxious to show our fans what they can do in 50 laps.”We usually see a “dust-up” or three when the DMR Auto Sales Street Stocks go racin at Speedway 660. Saturday night’s 50 lap Street Stock feature will be a good one!
Fans will also see a 50 lap feature in the Re/Max Pro Stock Division, while the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman drivers will run 40 laps and the West Wood Estates Bandoleros will go 15 laps. It promises to be another exciting night of action in the Geary Woods.

Coming up on Saturday, July 4th, the Maritime Pro Stock Tour will make its only trip of the season to the Geary Woods. The tour has already had several great races in 2015 and Shawn Turple will be out to win at Speedway 660 for the second year in a row.Shawn Turple (#0) loves racing at Speedway 660! He won the Irving Blending & Packaging 100 last year and looks to repeat next Saturday night.
