(June 13, 2015) Greg Fahey served notice, on Saturday night, that he will be a championship contender at Speedway 660 in 2015. Fahey, who has three Re/Max Pro Stock championships, drove to an impressive win in the 50 lap feature.

“This car was awesome and I am so thankful to have the opportunity to return to Pro Stock racing full-time and you don’t know how good it feels to win for this team” Fahey said from the Riverview Ford Victory Lane. “There is an incredible field of Pro Stocks here this year and who-ever ends up winning the 2015 championship is going to have to work for it.”

Brady Creamer led most of the race, holding off all challengers, until Fahey blew by him on Speedway 660’s high groove. Creamer had a great run and finished second. Lonnie Sommerville was near the front of the field for most of the race, but had to settle for third. Creamer and Dave O’Blenis won the Pro Stock heat races.Sommerville interview pro stock feature June, 2013In his post-race interview Lonnie Sommerville acknowledged how tough the Re/Max Pro Stock division is this year and said he had to keep working on his car to get it better.

“This car comes out of the Lonnie Sommerville Racing shop and I am so glad to be able to finally take it to victory lane” said Snell. “We’ve worked so hard to try to be competitive and this big win tonight is going to give us a lot of confidence.”Devon Snell Sportsman feature win June 2015It’s always great to see a young driver score his first big win. His nephew Ryan, who won the feature last week, picked up third place. Luc MacLaughlin, the defending point champion, was second. MacLaughlin and Geoff Tugwell won the Street Stock heat races.

Jeremy Doran continued his dominance in the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter Division. Doran won the feature ahead of Ira Farnell and Kyle MacKinnon. Farnell and Courtney Barton won the heat races.
