Lots of smoke, but no real damage. Sportsman action 2017Richard Atkinson (#40) and Jacob Logan “waged war” for the entire 40 lap feature, running side by side and nose to tail. It’s great to see Shawn back in a race car after being out of the seat for the last couple of years. Greg Fahey up in flamesThe RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock feature is next and right off the get-go Greg Fahey has a major issue. Greg Fahey up in flames 2017 The winner of the last three Pro Stock features in 2016 and the first one of 2017 saw his hopes of five in a row go up in flames (pardon the pun).Fire Rescue 2017Shane MacFarlane’s Fire & Rescue squad was on the scene quickly and the flames were dealt with while Greg quickly exited his Patterson Toyota.Pro Stock action 2017Greg’s little flare-up wasn’t the only excitement in the Pro Stock feature.Pro Stock action 2017Dustin Tucker (#52) and Matt Rodgers (#42) got tangled up and then climbed the bank down in turn three. Pro Stock action 2017 It sure wasn’t a pretty scene, especially for these two young drivers who kick up lots of dust and do heavy damage to their race cars.Pro Stock action 2017Sarah McKay (#32) avoids the wreck. That certainly wasn’t the case in week two. After taking Dustin Tucker to the pits, the flatbed was back in action being needed for both Doherty and Harris.Pro Stock action 2017After the carnage was cleaned up we had an unbelievable run to the finish. O’Blenis and Gosbee were battling side by side while Roy and Big Kevin Moore were doing the same thing just behind the leaders.Pro Stock action 2017Gosbee loosened up O’Blenis coming out of turn four and had the lead by the time they reached the stripe.
