PASS 150 goes Saturday!

Last Updated: June 1, 2017By

(June 1st, 2017) The Pro All Star Series, which comes to Speedway 660 on Saturday night, will make six drivers extremely happy. That’s because they will each earn provisional starting positions for one of North America’s most prestigious short-track races. The top three Canadians and top three Americans in this weekend’s PASS 150 will leave Speedway 660 knowing they will run in the Oxford 250 in southern Maine in late August.

“Every short track driver dreams of winning the Oxford 250 and after the PASS 150 this weekend six drivers will take the first step toward making that dream come true” said Greg Fahey, Speedway 660’s defending RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock champion. “The competition is going to be tough, but we feel pretty good about our chances and would love to earn the opportunity to go down to Oxford Plains in August knowing that we already have a guaranteed provisional.”

Greg Fahey would love to be able to have a great run this weekend and qualify for a starting spot in the Oxford 250.  But he’s not the only one! The racing will be intense in Saturday night’s PASS 150 with so much on the line.

Johnny Clark has a four race PASS winning streak at Speedway 660. He won the all star races in 2010, 11, 12 and 14. The race was rained out in 2013 and the Pro All Star Series didn’t run in the Maritimes in 15 and 16.

“We love coming up to New Brunswick and always seem to run pretty good at 660 winning two SpeedWeekend 250’s in addition to those four PASS races, but our last win there was three years ago” said Clark. “We’re having a decent season so far, but are still looking for our first win of the year and a trip to New Brunswick might be just what we need to go to victory lane.”  Clark victory lane PASS 2014Johnny Clark knows exactly where the Riverview Ford Victory Lane is and how to get there! He has won six major events at Speedway 660 over the years.

One of the biggest crowds of the season is expected to be at Speedway 660 for the only Maritime race on the Pro All Star Series 2017 schedule. Racing gets underway at 6:30PM.
