Martins Home Heating Firecracker 150 & Enduro 200 Weekend!
Fans can expect intense racing action when Speedway 660 opens its gates for an exciting double-whammy-weekend. Sportsman drivers will compete in the Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150 at 7PM on Saturday, followed by the Enduro 200 at 2PM on Sunday.
“Fans, sponsors and race teams can’t wait for Saturday’s Firecracker 150 which will take Sportsman racing as we know it to a whole new level” said Speedway 660’s Steve Burns. “And with an increased car-count, fans will see an unbelievable racing spectacle called the Enduro 200 on Sunday afternoon.”

Speedway 660 hosts two big events this weekend. At 7PM on Saturday all five divisions see action including Sportsman drivers who will race in the Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150. Then at 2PM on Sunday the fan favourite Enduro 200 takes to the track.
The Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150 has one of this region’s largest Sportsman purses of the season. Speedway 660 race teams are expected to face their stiffest competition in recent years from visiting drivers on Saturday night. Then, on Sunday afternoon, the Enduro 200 takes racing action to an extreme level of spins, crashes and barrel-rolls.
“Three thousand dollars to win a Sportsman race is a pretty big deal and fans are in for a treat when the green flag flies on Saturday night” said Burns. “The Enduro is an entirely different beast and attracts fans who want to see spins, flips and clouds of dust.”
Speedway 660 has a full card of racing scheduled for Saturday night. In addition to the Firecracker 150, fans will see drivers compete for Championship points in four other divisions. The A.L. Gullison Disaster Kleenup Pro Stocks, RV World Street Stocks, four cylinders and Bandolero divisions will all be part of the show.
“With only two weeks of point racing remaining, everyone will be going all out on Saturday night to improve their position heading into next week’s Night of Champions” said Burns. “We’ve got good point battles brewing in every division, so fans can expect some of the best racing of the 2012 season this weekend.”
Qualifying for the Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150 gets underway at 7PM on Saturday, but heat races for the four cylinders and Bandoleros go at 6:20PM. The Enduro drivers take the green flag at 2PM on Sunday.
