(July 16, 2015) The Capital City Auto Parts ENDURO 200 is the headline attraction at Speedway 660 this weekend. It all begins at 6:30PM on Saturday and is the only ENDURO night race of the season. Jesse Madore won the first ENDURO 200 back in mid-June finishing ahead of Pat Sharpe and Dale Gilbert.
Jesse goes for two in a row!
“I had a great car for the first ENDURO, the crew did an awesome job and we stayed out of trouble for most of the race” said Madore. “We’re looking for another good run on Saturday night, but these ENDURO races are always tough and unpredictable so we’ll just roll into Speedway 660 and give it our best shot.”Jesse Madore has won a few ENDURO races at Speedway 660. Jesse’s a good wheel-man and he’s got an awesome crew that works hard to keep him in contention.
While some drivers are out to win the race or have a good finish, Matt Caissie just likes to spin-out cars and keep all the other drivers on their toes. Caissie picked up Speedway 660’s bonus for spinning out the most cars in the final segment of ENDURO race number one.
“Yeah we like to entertain the fans, they’re the ones who pay to see us put on a show and they want to hear our tires howl, see some cars spin-out and taste a little dust” said Caissie. “I keep coming out for these ENDUROS because its blast and I don’t know anywhere else where you can go to have this much fun in front of great crowd.”Matt Caissie (#5) is the “King of Spin” at Speedway 660. Over the years, Matt has won a few ENDURO 200 races but these days he would rather be part of the “Spin Cycle”!
Ticket prices for Saturday’s event are $12; Youth tickets, for kids between eight and 16, are $9 and; Family Passes for two adults and two youths are $33. Admission is always free for fans seven and under.
There is no rain date for this event. If the weather is unsettled on Saturday morning fans and race teams should call the race line at 506-454-7223 or visit www.speedway660.com for race day status updates.
