(Fredericton, NB – April 27th, 2016) – Speedway 660 is excited to announce a partnership with Clark Chevrolet Cadillac that will see Canada’s oldest Chevrolet dealer as the presenting sponsor of the Firecracker 150 for the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division. The Clark Chevrolet Cadillac Firecracker 150 will go green on Saturday, July 23rd at 6:30pm at the Geary oval.

The Clark Chevrolet Cadillac Firecracker 150 is one of the region’s biggest Late Model Sportsman events and is one of the longest races of its kind in Atlantic Canada. The race pits the weekly competitors of the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division against some of the best racers from outside of Central New Brunswick who will be in search of the prestigious checkered flag. In 2015, five time Pro Stock track champion Dave O’Blenis (Boundary Creek) outran a stout field which included fellow Pro Stock champions Lonnie Sommerville (Barnesville) and Greg Fahey (St. Stephen) along with NAPA Sportsman Tour champions Chris and Kyle Reid (Fort McMurray, AB) for the win.
