2010 Season Roars into Action this Weekend!
Fredericton, NB – It’s that time of year again, the wait is over, let the summer festivities begin. This Saturday the 2010 season will open with the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season Opener. There will be points racing in every division, the Leisure Family RV.com Street Stocks, the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman, Coastal Blending& Packaging Pro Stocks. In addition, fans will see the return of the 4 cylinder division, as well as the newly launched Bandolero division. Everything gets underway at 7pm with heats, dashes and features in all divisions.
The smell of fresh paint will be in the air as teams unveil their new rides for 2010. There will be several new cars in each division not to mention the cagy veterans that will be looking for another successful year.
In the Leisure Family RV.com Street Stock division, Brian Fox ended the 2009 race season on a high note picking up the points championship and will be back to try and defend his title.
With the closest ever battle in the Martin’s Home Heating 2009 division we’re expecting another amazing year of Sportsman racing. 2009 Champ John Rankin will be looking to defend his awesome 2009 run with another championship.
Can 2009 Coastal Blending & Packaging Pro Stock Champion Greg Fahey make it three in a row? He’ll be looking to get an early jump on Brian MacNaughton, Kevin Moore and all the other 2010 championship entries.
Car counts are looking great for all divisions with some new rookies and returning veterans. Along with the addition of new divisions of racing this year will also see the return of the Pro All Star Series from New England for a 200 lapper on June 12. SPEEDWEEKEND will again mark the last event of the 2010 season and always is a huge success with drivers coming from all over Canada and the United States.
This weekend, don’t miss it, the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season promises to be a spectacular event.

Adults (16 and over) $12
Youth (ages 9-15) $9
Children (ages 8 and under) FREE
Family Pass: Two Adults, Two Youth plus 4 Coca Cola and 4 Cavendish fries for $35.
