On Saturday night, Dave O’Blenis became the first driver in Speedway 660 history to win three championships in a row. O’Blenis won the Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock Division title for the fifth time over-all.

Speedway 660 history could be made at the 2014 Night of Champions on Saturday. The racing will be intense as Championship trophies and Rookie of the Year awards will be handed out in all five racing divisions.
Racin with the Big Boys: A Conversation with Kevin Moore
Kevin Moore is one of the veteran drivers at Speedway 660. “Big Kevin” has been a Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock competitor for many years and is getting ready for this weekend’s Night of Champions. Wade Wilson recently spoke with Kevin Moore about his career, Pro Stock racing at 660 and this Saturday’s race.

Over 35 Pro Stock teams have already pre-registered and will attempt to qualify for the Re/Max 250 on Sunday, August 31st. Oxford 250 winner Travis Benjamin, who is looking for his first Re/Max 250 victory, will make the trip north for the big race.

The end of summer is coming quickly and so is the end of the racing season. But we’ve got two more weeks to go and this week it’s all about rookies and champions. Last weekend we had Fan Appreciation Night and saw some great racing and an historic win out in the Geary Woods.

Alexandra O’Blenis makes history!
On Saturday night Alexandra O’Blenis became the first lady driver to ever win a Sportsman feature at Speedway 660. Alexandra, who also won her Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman heat race, won the 30 lap feature ahead of Drew Greenlaw and Brent Roy. Jason Shannon won the other heat race, while Brent Roy won the dash.

Speedway 660 is hosting Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday. The event is presented by The New Hot 92.3 – Fredericton’s #1 Hit Music Station. Fans will be treated to an on-track autograph session, lots of prizes and a night of incredible point racing in five divisions.
Re/Max becomes Pro Stock 250 Sponsor
Speedway 660 has reached an agreement with a marketing partner for the title sponsorship of the Pro Stock 250 on SpeedWeekend. The biggest race of the season will now be called the Re/Max 250.
