Fredericton, NB – Fans of Pro Stock racing are in for a treat this Sunday night in the Geary woods as they will have many options when trying to pick the 2012 winner of the Auto Value 250.
Six former Auto Value 250 Champions will be in the field along with the best talent on the eastern seaboard. One thing is for certain, it won’t be an easy pick!
On top of the list of previous competitors, this year fans will see Pro All Stars Series (PASS) standouts Cassius Clark and DJ Shaw. Cassius is leading the PASS points series and is fresh off a victory in the prestigious Atlantic Cat 250 only three weeks ago.

The racing sure is intense this year! All five divisions at Speedway 660 are extremely competitive and drivers are going as fast as they can, for as long as they can, to earn as many championship points as they can! And championships are a big deal in the Geary Woods, just ask any driver who hasn’t won one!
Over the years, from my vantage point, it seems that patience is an important part of racing’s big picture. Remember Brain Gillespie’s five Martin’s Home heating Sportsman Championships? On at least one and maybe two occasions, the Nackawic Night Train won the title without winning a feature race!
Mild-mannered Randy Moore is quietly going about his business in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division this year. Last Saturday night Moore, who leads the Sportsman championship points race, got a third place finish in the feature – his first Speedway 660 podium of 2012!
PASS This Way Again!
The Pro All Star Series is coming to Speedway 660 this Saturday night. It’s their only race in Atlantic Canada and one of two events in Canada. We sure are pleased that PASS officials are continuing to bring their awesome brand of racing to our fans.

Speedway 660 has a great schedule of events for 2011, but I believe the PASS 200 is right up there with SPEEDWEEKEND’s Auto Value 250. In terms of talent, excitement and drama the Pro All Star Series has it all. Johnny Clark will try to continue his string of dominating performances at Speedway 660. You’ll remember that Clark won both the PASS 200 and the Auto Value 250 last season.
The weather is warming up, spring is here! Check out the schedule section for updated events. A full press release around the schedule will go out around the first of May.
FREDERICTON: Saturday night at the Fredericton Inn Speedway 660 held its annual Awards banquet to honour the champions and award winners from the past season. With a great crowd on hand this evening is always a hit as a mid winter gathering to celebrate the past years events and get excited about the upcoming season.
The big winners in 2010 were division champions Chris Duncan, Ken Mackenzie, Rick Cashol, Ryan Messer, Kevin Peterson and Pat Sharpe.
Fredericton, NB – All the way from Tennessee to the Geary Woods! Two Time Daytona 500 Champion Sterling Marlin has announced his intentions to enter the 9th Annual Peterbilt 250 at Speedway 660. Marlin will join a strong list of Southern Stars who have competed in the Labour Day Classic. Over the past several years fans have seen Johnny Benson, Terry & Justin Labonte and Ron Hornaday take battle against the best Pro Stock teams in the Northeast.
Mother nature wins again…. Officials at Speedway have canceled tonight’s Fredericton Inn weekly racing event and the Mascot Challenge festivities. There is no rain date for this event but stay tuned for the reschedule date for the Mascot Challenge Festivities.
CARQUEST Pro Stock tour is on tap next weekend. Check back through the week for details on entry list and weekly teams that will be running next Saturday night.
