Fredericton, NB -It was a beautiful night for racing in the Geary woods. Earlier this week no one would have thought that there would have been any racing happening this weekend but luckily Hurricane Bill held off. Race fans got to see some exciting racing in the Coast Tire Street Stock; Martin’s Home Heating and the Irving Lubricant’s Pro Stock divisions as the points battles are heating up. That’s not all, fans also got to see racing in the AOW series as well as the Faster Pastor’s racing in the Street Stock cars.
Fredericton, NB – Saturday night under the lights in the Geary woods will be the Faster Pastor’s + Fredericton Mitsubishi Weekly Points’ Racing + Mascot Night. Points are heating up in all divisions. Local Mascots will be out in full swing strutting their stuff in some crazy events to capture bragging rights for another year!
We have several pastors registered for the Faster Pastor event. This is a good opportunity to come out and support your Pastor as they will have a chance to get into a Street Stock car and race.
With two weekends of racing remaining before Speed Weekend, drivers, crews and fans are focused on the championship point battle in all three of our divisions.
Greg Fahey #20 and Glenn Rasmussen #81 thrilled us last Saturday night with side-by-side Pro-Stock racing!

Fredericton, NB - With any new venture it can take time to get things rolling. This seems to be the case with the Front Wheel Drive Enduro. Due to the fact that this Enduro featured a totally new division of cars and would be a stand alone event (without any other divisions present) officials at Speedway 660 were looking to have teams pre-register in advance of Sundays FWD Enduro 200. To date there have not been enough drivers registered to hold an event. “We have tried our best over the years to ensure that we provide the highest quality of product to our fans therefore if would not be fair to them to host an event with a very low car count as indicated by our registrations” said Co-owner Chris Johnston. “We certainly do appreciate the teams that have built FWD Enduro cars and those who are working on them so we plan to host a FWD Enduro 100 in conjunction with our Big Car Enduro 200 on Labour Day Monday. We feel this will give teams an extra few weeks to prepare and will be a great addition to our season finale event”.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Teams that are working on FWD Enduro cars are encouraged to contact the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 506-455-3181 to register their car and number for the September 7th event.
Fredericton, NB -This weekend is another double header weekend featuring the Fredericton Mitsubishi Ladies Night and the Front Wheel Drive Enduro 200. Fans will get to see lots of racing again this weekend. With a few races canceled due to Mother Nature, we are now full speed ahead until SPEEDWEEKEND.
This Saturday night under the lights there will be the Dent Daddy Street Stock 75, regular points racing with heats, dashes and features in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman, Irving Lubricants Pro Stocks and well as the 4 cylinders making their debut. This will be the first big race for the Street Stocks, as they will get a chance to strut their stuff in a long race. You never know fans; maybe you will see the bright orange #04 car of Smokin’ Joe Albert. Joe has been semi retired from racing and like any other driver still has it is in his blood. Smokin’ Joe is one the most popular drivers at Speedway 660 and fans enjoy seeing him out. No doubt he will be at the track trying to win another race. He will have some strong competition as each and every week the Street Stocks are more and more competitive. Points Leader Brian Fox might have something to say about who is going to win the race. There was a first time feature winner last week when Charles Gaddess took his car to the Auto Pride victory lane. It will be one of those races that you won’t want to miss.
Fredericton, NB – All the way from Tennessee to the Geary Woods! Two Time Daytona 500 Champion Sterling Marlin has announced his intentions to enter the 9th Annual Peterbilt 250 at Speedway 660. Marlin will join a strong list of Southern Stars who have competed in the Labour Day Classic. Over the past several years fans have seen Johnny Benson, Terry & Justin Labonte and Ron Hornaday take battle against the best Pro Stock teams in the Northeast.
