Champions are Crowned at 660!

(Aug. 20, 2017) The 2017 Day of Champions provided fans with plenty of excitement on Sunday afternoon at Speedway 660. Brent Roy won his first RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock championship while John Rankin claimed his second Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman title. Luc McLaughlin, won the DMR Auto Sales Street Stock championship for the second time while Kyle Boudreau drove home with his second Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter championship. Continue reading

Fans Appreciate Fahey’s Dramatic win!

(Aug. 19, 2017) Greg Fahey pulled off an exciting victory in the RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock 50 lap feature on Fan Appreciation Night at Speedway 660. Fahey chased down and passed his teammate Ryan Messer for the lead and then held off Dave O’Blenis, who almost succeeded in making a last lap pass. O’Blenis and Messer finished second and third . Clark is the Best Again!

(July 29, 2017) Cassius Clark won the Clark Chevrolet Best of the Best Pro Stock 150 on Saturday night at Speedway 660. It’s the second year in a row that the Farmington, Maine driver drove to victory lane in one of the biggest Pro Stock races of the season. Clark, who led most of the race, held off Ben Rowe and Ashton Tucker who finished second and third. Dave O’Blenis was fourth and Kirk Thibeau rounded out the top five. Continue reading

Rankin celebrates second big sportsman win!

(July 22, 2017) It was Christmas in July on Saturday night at Speedway 660 and John Rankin continued his amazing season by winning his second big Sportsman race of the year. The young driver from St. Martins, New Brunswick drove to victory lane in the Firecracker 150 after winning the Martin’s Home Heating 100 back in June. Alexandra O’Blenis was second in the race, while Laurie Cormier finished third. Matt Maillet, George Jamieson and Rankin won the qualifying heat races while Cormier won a special contingency award in memory of the late Glyn Nott Sr.

SLOCUM declared winner of Street Stock 75

(July 8, 2017) Matt Crocker crossed the finish line first in the DMR Auto Sales Street Stock 75 on Saturday night at Speedway 660, but was later disqualified after failing the post-race tech inspection. Fourth place finisher Benji Ruff was also disqualified. When all was said and done Roger Slocum became the winner of the race. Destiny Enkel moved up to second, while Luke Dukeshire was third. John Rankin celebrates Father’s Day with big win!

(June 18, 2017) Father’s Day 2017 is one John Rankin will remember for a long time. Rankin won the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman 100 at Speedway 660, picking up a feature checkered flag for the second week in a row. Ryan Messer won his first-ever RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock feature, while Matt Crocker won his first DMR Auto Sales Street Stock feature. Continue reading

MacKinnon takes the Sharp Shooter 50

(June 10, 2017) Kyle MacKinnon took the checkered flag in the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter 50 on Saturday night at Speedway 660. MacKinnon held off a late charge by Brodie Levesque to pick up the victory. Ashton Tucker won his first ever RE/MAX Group Four Realty Pro Stock feature, while John Rankin won the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman feature and Luc McLaughlin took the DMR Auto Street Stock feature. Firsts for Goodwin and Logan!

(May 28, 2017) Riley Goodwin and Jacob Logan won their first ever feature races at Speedway 660 on Sunday afternoon. Goodwin, the 2016 DMR Auto Sales Street Stock Rookie of the Year won his feature and Logan, the 2016 Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Rookie of the Year also visited victory lane. Dylan Gosbee took top honours in the Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock feature while Kyle Boudreau crossed the stripe first in the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter 20 lapper. Continue reading

Fahey Finishes First Again!

(May 21, 2017) Greg Fahey started the 2017 racing season at Speedway 660 in fine fashion on Sunday. Fahey, who won the last three feature races of 2016 to claim the Re/Max Group Four Realty Pro Stock crown, won the 50 lap feature on the Riverview Ford Season Opener and Kid’s Day. Other feature winners were Drew Greenlaw in Sportsman, Luc McLaughlin in Street Stock and Kyle MacKinnon in Sharp Shooter. Continue reading
