(Fredericton, NB – March 2nd 2018) – Speedway 660 officials are embarking on the 25th season of racing in the Geary woods. The first piece of what will be a busy 2018 is the schedule of stock car racing events for the year. The schedule offers 13 regular point racing cards from May to August with SpeedWeekend 2018 serving as the finale for the season from August 31st to September 2nd.
A new year means a new race season and we have 2018 Season Passes on special until January 27th, 2018. The 2018 season marks the 25th Anniversary of racing in the Geary Woods and will be one you will not want to miss.
But first, it is time to celebrate our 2017 racing season.

The Speedway 660 Banquet will be held January 27th, 2018 at the Fredericton Inn. The Banquet starts at 7pm and will be followed by a dance with DJ Dale Case.

Maritime League of Legends Geared for Geary Appearance Saturday
(SACKVILLE, NB) August 30th, 2017 – The Maritime League of Legends Tour will conclude a five race stretch with a stop at Speedway 660 this Saturday night, September 2nd, for the A.L. Gullison DKI 50 presented by Ideal Equipment. This is the eighth event on the 2017 calendar and is the penultimate event on the season for the Maritime League of Legends Tour. The race is a part of the opening night of stock car racing action on SpeedWeekend 2017. Racing begins at the Geary, New Brunswick oval on Saturday at 6:30pm.
FREDERICTON, NB, CAN (August 22, 2017) – Speedway 660 announced today that they will be broadcasting their entire $110,000+ SpeedWeekend on Pit Row TV, an internet-based broadcast channel dedicated to motorsports of all types. Fans can expect to see every lap of on-track competition both Saturday and Sunday through LIVE video, with an on-demand replay available shortly after each event.

(August 3rd, 2017) – The defending champion of the McLaughlin Roof Trusses 250 at Speedway 660 was quickest to the draw on Monday evening when the registration window opened for the 2017 edition of the event.
Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine was the first of 27 drivers to file an entry for the Sunday, September 3rd race within 24 hours of registration being opened. Drivers from New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Maine are represented on the early registration list with still a month to go before the race itself.
(Fredericton, NB – July 31st, 2017) – For race teams planning on competing in the 2017 McLaughlin Roof Trusses 250 at Speedway 660 on Sunday, September 3rd, there is an incentive to registering your car early for the prestigious event. Track management has announced that the tire selection order for the race will be based off the order of registration for the event. The registration period opened for the McLaughlin Roof Trusses 250 at 6pm Atlantic on Monday, July 31st.
The racing card scheduled for June 24th has been canceled due to rain in the forecast throughout the day on Saturday. The event does not have a rain date and will not be rescheduled.
The track is exploring options on adding events to the schedule to make up for the number of lost races thus far on the 2017 season.
Next Saturday, July 1st, will see the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour roll into the Geary woods for their only stop of the season at Speedway 660. The Cummins 150 will also feature racing in the DMR Auto Sales Street Stock and Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooter divisions. Post time on Canada Day is 6:30pm.

The Pro All Stars Series 150, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 3rd at Speedway 660, has been cancelled due to an unfavourable weather forecast.
PASS and Speedway 660 officials were not able to find a make-up date that worked for both parties. As a result, next Sunday’s race at Oxford Plains Speedway, in Maine, will now become the event that offers Oxford 250 provisionals to the top three Canadians and top three Americans.
Speedway 660 returns to action on Saturday, June 10th with Regular Point Racing, highlighted by the Fredericton Gun Shop Sharp Shooters 50. Post time is 6:30pm.
(May 11, 2017) Mother Nature has taken Round One at Speedway 660 for the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, due to the saturated grounds at Speedway 660 after all the rain the province received, the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season Opener will now take place on Sunday, May 21st.
The 660 Show and Sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 6th, has been postponed due to the wet weather forecast for the weekend.
Fans wanting to get their racing fix prior to the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season Opener on Sunday, May 14th, can visit FrexRod, Fredericton’s Foremost Automotive Event, this weekend.
