Martin’s Home Heating Warms up Track with Sportsman Sponsorship

(Fredericton, NB – March 15th, 2017) – Speedway 660 is excited to announce a continued partnership with Martin’s Home Heating Limited that will see the company’s branding on the Sportsman division and their extended 100-lap feature on Saturday, June 17th. The eight-cylinder powered class is the second highest of racing at Speedway 660 behind only the Pro Stock division. The Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman provides a home for up and coming stars and veterans alike to mix it up every week on the Geary, New Brunswick oval.

Richard and Ann Martin have been staunch supporters of stock car racing in Atlantic Canada for over 20 years. Martin’s Home Heating Limited has been emblazoned on a number of stock cars that have raced throughout the province of New Brunswick along with being the title sponsor of the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division at Speedway 660 for the past eight years. Martin’s Home Heating Limited offers services for home heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

“Richard and Ann Martin have been long time supporters of Speedway 660 and we’re extremely happy and proud to call them Speedway 660 marketing partners,” said Max Roy of Speedway 660. “We’re looking forward to see what 2017 has in store for the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division.”

Ryan Messer (Harvey, NB) continued his rise through the ranks of the Speedway 660 Weekly Racing Series with a championship in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division in 2016. Messer edged out fellow young gun in Drew Greenlaw (Eastport, ME) for his second career track championship at Speedway 660. With Messer moving to the Pro Stock division full time in 2017, the season long championship in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman class will be wide open for the taking.

Veteran stock car driver Dave O’Blenis (Boundary Creek, NB) was the winner in the 2016 edition of the Martin’s Home Heating 100.

The 2017 season kicks off on Sunday, May 14th with the Riverview Ford Lincoln Season Opener. The Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman division will contest a 40-lap point paying feature to start off a highly anticipated new year.
