Jesse Madore wins ENDURO number one!

(June 14, 2015) Speedway 660’s double-header weekend ended with an exciting Capital City Auto Parts ENDURO 200 on Sunday afternoon. Jesse Madore worked his way to the front of the field during the second 75 lap segment and put on a dominating performance in the final 75 laps to seal the win.

“This car was awesome today and my crew deserves credit for getting it ready for the first ENDURO of the season and getting us out fast when we had to come in to change tires” said Madore in the Riverview Ford Victory Lane. “You can’t beat ENDURO racing because it’s as much fun as you can have at a race track and I encourage other people to give it a go when we go racing in July.”2015ENDURO spin JuneJesse (#3) spins out Pat Sharpe on his way to winning the Capital City Auto Parts ENDURO 200 on Sunday.

Pat Sharpe, who has multiple ENDURO wins and championships over the years, settled for second place in the race, while Dale Gilbert came home third. Luke Shaeffer won the first 75 lap segment before Madore took control of the race.

Speedway 660 put an extra $100 up for grabs to the driver who spun out the most other cars in the final segment. It ended up being no contest as Matt Caissie put the bumper to more than a dozen cars to claim the bonus.MattCaissieMostspinsJUne2001Matt Caissie (2nd from right) spent the entire final 50 lap segment spinning out his fellow competitors. Matt picked up the bonus cash for the most spins.

“That’s what we come out here to do, put a show on for these great fans and they want to see cars get turned around” said Caissie. “It might be nice to win one of these things someday, but we come out here to entertain the fans and the best way we can do that is to mix it up out on the track.”TristanHorncastleracesENDUROJune2015Country music star Tristan Horncastle didn’t receive any special treatment during his first-ever ENDURO race. Tristan’s car was battered and bruised but the driver had a heck-of-a-time!

The second Capital City Auto Parts ENDURO 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 18th at 6:30PM. It’s the only ENDURO night race of the season. Next Saturday night Speedway 660 holds Weekly Championship Point races with action in five exciting divisions.
