It will be dark and quiet in the Geary Woods this Saturday night. That’s because Speedway 660 and its fans, sponsors, race-teams, employees and volunteers are taking the weekend off.
“Everyone deserves a break before we head into the stretch run because after this weekend we’ll being going wide-open until the season ends on SpeedWeekend” said Speedway 660′s Steve Burns. “2012 has been a fantastic season and we know with championships on the line and the Auto Value 250 just around the corner it’s going to be a great finish to the racing year.”
After the New Brunswick Holiday Weekend, race fans will be headed back to Speedway 660 for an exciting final month of the 2012 racing season. The Martin’s Home Heating Firecracker 150 for Sportsman cars is scheduled for August 11th and racing continues every weekend until SpeedWeekend wraps up the season on September 3rd.
