The Big Boys Hit The Geary Woods – 32 Cars Expected!!!

Fredericton, NB – The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour is heading to the Geary Woods this weekend and the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour 100 is promising to be one of the many exciting races to make this another action packed weekend at Speedway 660. Upwards of 32 cars are expected to make their way to the Geary woods this Saturday night for the tour’s first Speedway visit of the season. Green flag is scheduled to fly at 6pm (5:10 start for time trials).

Thibeau, Nott & Cancer Society Big Winners at Speedway 660 – June 14th

Fredericton, NB – A bright and beautiful day rolled in with another exciting night of action packed racing at Speedway 660. Tonight’s event featured TWO (that’s right, you did not read it wrong) 100 lap events in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Division and the Irving Lubricants Pro Stock Division while the Coast Tire Street Stocks competed for points for the top spot. Aside from the action, Wayne Smith presented the Canadian Cancer Society with an estimated ten thousand dollar cheque for his Driver for Cancer.

100 + 100 = Tons of Racing Action + 5:00pm Start Time!

Fredericton, NB – Speedway 660 has yet to hold an uneventful weekend for 2008 and this weekend isn’t going to be any different. This weekend, under the lights, fans will be treated to two of the biggest events of the year, twin 100 lap events featuring the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman and Irving Lubricants Pro Stock divisions. Originally planned for June 14th was the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman 100, however due to Mother Nature’s interference, Speedway 660 officials decided to add on another 100 lapper, the Irving Lubricant’s “Best of the Best” Pro Stock 100, which had been
rained out two weekends prior. With all this excitement the usual start time of 6pm has been moved to a special start time of 5pm!

72 Hours & 3090 laps Complete – GREAT JOB WAYNE!!

Wayne Smth completed his 72 hour Drive for Cancer with an amazing 3090 laps completed. Through sun, cloud, extreme heat and rain Wayne was able to complete his challenge. Dont forget to check out Speedway 660 this Saturday night when Wayne will announce his total funds raised and talk to the fans about his adventure.
