Fredericton, NB – Another exciting night at Speedway 660 ended with some familiar faces in victory lane for the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour 100 along with the newest additions to podium finishes in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Division and Coast Tire Street Stock Division.
Fredericton, NB – The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour is heading to the Geary Woods this weekend and the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour 100 is promising to be one of the many exciting races to make this another action packed weekend at Speedway 660. Upwards of 32 cars are expected to make their way to the Geary woods this Saturday night for the tour’s first Speedway visit of the season. Green flag is scheduled to fly at 6pm (5:10 start for time trials).
Fredericton, NB – A bright and beautiful day rolled in with another exciting night of action packed racing at Speedway 660. Tonight’s event featured TWO (that’s right, you did not read it wrong) 100 lap events in the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Division and the Irving Lubricants Pro Stock Division while the Coast Tire Street Stocks competed for points for the top spot. Aside from the action, Wayne Smith presented the Canadian Cancer Society with an estimated ten thousand dollar cheque for his Driver for Cancer.
Fredericton, NB – Speedway 660 has yet to hold an uneventful weekend for 2008 and this weekend isn’t going to be any different. This weekend, under the lights, fans will be treated to two of the biggest events of the year, twin 100 lap events featuring the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman and Irving Lubricants Pro Stock divisions. Originally planned for June 14th was the Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman 100, however due to Mother Nature’s interference, Speedway 660 officials decided to add on another 100 lapper, the Irving Lubricant’s “Best of the Best” Pro Stock 100, which had been
rained out two weekends prior. With all this excitement the usual start time of 6pm has been moved to a special start time of 5pm!
Wayne Smth completed his 72 hour Drive for Cancer with an amazing 3090 laps completed. Through sun, cloud, extreme heat and rain Wayne was able to complete his challenge. Dont forget to check out Speedway 660 this Saturday night when Wayne will announce his total funds raised and talk to the fans about his adventure.

Wayne Smith and his Speedway 660 Victory Gang are 18.5hrs into their 72 hr marathon and Wayne has completed 956 laps as of 5:00pm on Sunday. Awesome job guys…. keep it up!!!!

Fredericton, NB – As the second event of the double header weekend went underway, it looked like Mother Nature may interfere with the Speedway’s plans. However, after a little bit of sun dancing, Mother Nature held off her summer showers and gave fans another great night of racing in all consecutive classes.
Fredericton, NB – Officials at Speedway 660 have spent the week looking for a reschedule date for last weekends washed out Irving Lubricants Pro Stock 100. After weighing all the options it was clear that the only weekend that would be a viable option for the event was Saturday June 14th.
Fredericton, NB – It looked to be a cold dark night in the grandstands but the drivers on the track sure heated up the whole track. After a long awaited winter the Enduro division went under way tonight for the first race of their four race season.
