Speedway 660 is all set to host one of Canada’s biggest short-track racing events. SpeedWeekend 2014 gets underway on Friday evening with a free event for fans, campers, race teams and sponsors. Speedway 660 is hosting Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday. The event is presented by The New Hot 92.3 – Fredericton’s #1 Hit Music Station. Fans will be treated to an on-track autograph session, lots of prizes and a night of incredible point racing in five divisions.
Speedway 660 is proud to announce that Austin Theriault, one NASCAR’s up and coming bright young stars, will visit the Geary Woods on SpeedWeekend. Theriault, who made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut earlier this season, will suit-up in the Re/Max 250.
Speedway 660 has reached an agreement with a marketing partner for the title sponsorship of the Pro Stock 250 on SpeedWeekend. The biggest race of the season will now be called the Re/Max 250.
The final month of the 2014 short-track racing season gets off to a thunderous start at Speedway 660 this Saturday evening. The Martin’s Home Heating Sportsman Firecracker 150 and the Westwood Estate Apartments 30 lap Bando Blast highlight action in the Geary Woods.
