(May 14, 2015) : Maritime stock car fans will get to see some exciting short-track racing action this weekend. Speedway 660, in Geary, New Brunswick, will open its gates for a Pre-Tech and Practise session at 1PM on Saturday, followed by the Riverview Ford Season Opener at 2PM on Sunday.
Five drivers will run the Irving Oil Blending & Packaging 150 and Re/Max 250 on SpeedWeekend. Two of them have done it before, but three others will go racing twice on SpeedWeekend for the first time. Continue reading
Speedway 660 is all set to host one of Canada’s biggest short-track racing events. SpeedWeekend 2014 gets underway on Friday evening with a free event for fans, campers, race teams and sponsors. Speedway 660 is hosting Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday. The event is presented by The New Hot 92.3 – Fredericton’s #1 Hit Music Station. Fans will be treated to an on-track autograph session, lots of prizes and a night of incredible point racing in five divisions.
Speedway 660 is proud to announce that Austin Theriault, one NASCAR’s up and coming bright young stars, will visit the Geary Woods on SpeedWeekend. Theriault, who made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut earlier this season, will suit-up in the Re/Max 250.
Speedway 660 has reached an agreement with a marketing partner for the title sponsorship of the Pro Stock 250 on SpeedWeekend. The biggest race of the season will now be called the Re/Max 250.
